Seniors are being targeted with a scam that involves a letter about your property deed.

The letter states that you should have a certified copy of your house deed, and that for a fee (typically $60) you will be provided with a certified copy of your deed. Even if you actually receive the certified copy, the scam is that you (or, someone on your behalf) can obtain this certified copy from your local registers office for a fee that is a fraction of the cost listed in the letter.
